Discover the places, industries, culture and people in existence in the Roxborough area long ago. Be a part of the preservation of the historical records, materials, buildings and sites relative to the Roxborough Area for the education and enjoyment of future generations. Enjoy the fellowship of other community members interested in the history of northwest Douglas County and the Roxborough area.
You do not need to be a history buff to participate in or benefit from participation in this organization. You merely need an appreciation of or interest in the Roxborough area and a desire to preserve the history of this beautiful area for future generations. Key objectives of this group are:

To discover, investigate, research, collect and preserve records, materials, buildings or sites relative to the prehistory, history and cultural resources of the Roxborough area.
- To offer educational programs, seminars and field trips to encourage the knowledge and understanding of the prehistory, history and cultural resources of Colorado in general and specifically of the Roxborough area.
To raise funds, accept donations and to organize events as needed to promote the Historical Society of the Roxborough area and its purposes and programs.
- To support efforts of local property owners and governmental entities in their efforts to research and preserve prehistoric, historic and cultural resources on properties under their control.

Annual dues are payable January 1st for that membership year.
